§ 46 deals with the performance of acts by seal companies, by representatives and by a person with the right of power of attorney, while Article 47 deals with the requirement of delivery (defined as the intention to be legally bound under Article 47, paragraph 3). Limitation periods are another important difference between the act and the agreements. A limitation period is the period of time that a party may take after the occurrence of a given event. The duration depends on the State to which the act is subject (the act must indicate to which law of the State it is subject): an act is often a binding commitment or obligation to do something. It is said that this is the most solemn clue that a person intends to do what he has promised. However, in most cases, reference should be made to the legislation in order to establish specific requirements for the preparation of a valid document.
